What is Clean Beauty?

Is this something that’s up to brands to decide considering each retailer seems to have their own parameters?

I would like to know more about this topic. I would say anything with the least amount of ingredients or having the most natural ingredients. Would be great to get more information on what all of these ingredients are and what they truly do.

There’s so much to unpack on Clean Beauty! Personally, I try my best to find products that are as close to “clean” as possible. But I think overall, I don’t have a big preference when it comes to clean vs. not clean. But I know for some, there really is no other choice for them but clean/non-toxic.

I think it’s up to brands (who are leading the clean beauty movement) to be as transparent as possible (boycott greenwashing, share full ingredient list) and also offer more education around non-toxic ingredients and ethical practices.

I will say that I have products (both clean and not clean) that do wonders for me, so overall while clean beauty is something I try to prioritize, I can’t say I’m full convinced when it comes to the products that just do it for me!
