Why is Korean Beauty so Popular?

I am really interested in knowing more about Korean skincare/beauty!

  1. Why is it so popular?
  2. What are some of the ingredients that they use that the US doesn’t?
  3. Why do they NOT expire for so long? –> I have a bunch of k-beauty and every time I look at the expiration dates it says it will last for another three years! Meanwhile my US products last 12 months of less.

To respond in kind:

  1. K-beauty is highly effective and even more affordable. Not only can you try more products bc of its affordability, often you see instant results with these advanced formulas
  2. K-beauty introduced the world to ingredients like snail mucin, exosomes, and spicules, as well as advanced SPF filters
  3. Its not that K Beauty products dont expire as quickly, they have differently regulatory procedures for claims on the bottle. Vit C still should be used within 3 months, regardless if its a US, French or Korean brands. K-beauty packaging shows manufacture and unopened expire dates, whereas US shows “use within” dates.
