I always stock up on my green tea staples from [fromjapanwithlove.com](http://fromjapanwithlove.com), and while I’m at it, usually throw in some Japanese skincare too. I recently came across this foaming face wash ([Shiseido Senka Perfect Whip Facial Cleansing Foam](https://japanwithlovestore.com/products/shiseido-senka-perfect-whip-cleansing-foam-120g-x-2-tubes-4901872444915?utm_source=Klaviyo&utm_medium=email&_kx=Op2toqma4uPFcBmqGGBaNg1ZYUP533pRVMKmTSrqJ7c6y6DbhB6z1ob-6RI92H4F.TA9Pw4)) with an ingredient called [sericin](https://www.sciencedirect.com/topics/biochemistry-genetics-and-molecular-biology/sericin), which is a protein that used to be considered waste during silk production, but turns out it has some pretty amazing skincare benefits: antioxidant, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, even wound healing. Plus, it’s biodegradable, which is a nice bonus. Always love to discover new ingredients!

Also, the Vitamin C face wash ([Melano CC Deep Clear Enzyme Facial Cleanser](https://japanwithlovestore.com/products/pre-sale-melano-cc-deep-clear-enzyme-facial-cleansing-130g-enzyme-x-vitamin-c-facial-cleansing-foam-pore-care?utm_source=Klaviyo&utm_medium=email&_kx=Op2toqma4uPFcBmqGGBaNg1ZYUP533pRVMKmTSrqJ7c6y6DbhB6z1ob-6RI92H4F.TA9Pw4)) has Vitamin C and enzymes, so it’s super brightening, and also smells really good.
